Let E be the event of getting a multiple of 3 or 5 

Favorable outcomes are: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45, 48, 5, 10, 20, 25, 35, 40, 50 

Numbers of favorable outcomes are: 23 

P (multiple of 3 or 5) = P (E) = \(\frac{23}{50}\)
