Best answer

The left ventricle has thicker walls because it pumps blood to the whole body. The auricles need much less pressure because they do not pump blood to organs, they just need to pump blood to the next ventricle. The right ventricle has a lower pressure than the left ventricle because the right, only has to get blood to lungs.

ANSWER - Ventricles have thicker muscles than atria because they have to pump the blood to all the parts of the body and  the muscles should be strong and thick to do so.  Whereas the atria recieves blood from different parts if the body and thus the blood have low pressure thats why they don't need thick muscles .
