Either toys are placed in box A and B.

therefore number of choices are 2.

5 Toys can be placed in box A.

So, number of ways to filled box A = 5!

3 toys can be placed in box B.

So, number of ways to filled box B = 3!

Thus number of ways to placed 8 toys in boxes A and B

= 5! x 3! x 2

= 120 x 6 x 2

= 1440.
