Best answer

(i) \((\frac{3\text{x}}{4}+\frac{2y}{9})^2\)

By using the formula (a + b)2 = a2 + b2 + 2ab

We get;

(ii) (9x – 10)2

By using the formula (a - b)2 = a2 - 2ab + b2

We get;

(9x – 10)2

= (9x)2 – 2 × (9x) × 10 + (10)2

= 81x2 – 180x + 100

(iii) (x2y – yz2)2

By using the formula (a - b)2 = a2 - 2ab + b2

We get;

= (x2y – yz2)2

= (x2y)2 – 2 × (x2y) × yz2 + (yz2)2

= x4y2 – 2x2y2z2 + y2z4

(iv) \((\frac{\text{x}}{{y}}-\frac{y}{\text{x}})^2\)

By using the formula (a - b)2 = a2 - 2ab + b2

We get;

(v) \((3m\,-\frac{4}{5}n)^2\)

By using the formula (a - b)2 = a2 - 2ab + b2

We get;
