Draw the graph of the following linear equations in two variables:

2y = -x +1

We have

2y = -x +1

x - 1 = 2y     ...............(i)

Putting y = 0 we get x = 1 -2 x 0 = 1

Putting y = -1 we get x = 1 - 2(-1) = 3 

Thus, we have the following table giving the two points on the line represented by the equation 

2y = x + 3

2y = -x +1
