In a circle of diameter 40 cm, the length of a cord is 20 cm. Find the length of minor arc of the chord.

The radius and chord join to form a equilateral triangle. Therefore 

l = rθ = 20 × \(\frac{\pi}{3}\) 

= 20 × \(\frac{3.14}{3}\) = 20.933.
