(1) `1 = 0.99+0.01`
So, `1 gt 0.99`
`1.093 = 1.092+0.001`
So, `1.093 gt 1.092`

(2) Money spent by Lata to buy a pen ` = 9.50 ` Rs
Money spent by Lata to buy a pencil ` = 2.50 ` Rs
Total money spent by Lata `= 9.50+2.50 = 12` Rs
