Let the side of the square be a cm .
Length of the rectangle `=5acm`
Breadth of the rectangle `=a cm`
Perimeter of the rectangle `=2(5a+a)=12a`.
`therefore12a=276`
`a=(276)/(12)=23cm`
The area of the square `=a^2=23^2=529sq.cm`.
