We have, A = {x :x∈ W,x< 2} = {0, 1};

B = {x : x ∈ N, 1 <x< 5} = {2, 3,4}; and C= {3, 5}

(i) B∩ C = {3}

A x (B ∩ C) = {0, 1} x {3} = {(0, 3), (1, 3)}

(ii) (B ∪ C) ={2,3,4, 5}

A x (B ∪ C) = {0, 1} x {2, 3,4, 5}

= {(0,2), (0,3), (0,4), (0,5), (1,2), (1,3), (1,4), (1, 5)}
