Best answer
`4 : 5 = 4/5 = 0.8`
` 18: 25 = 18/25 = 0.72`
As, ` 0.8 gt 0.72`,
` :. 4 : 5 gt 18 : 15`.
Alternate method :
Ratios can also be compared by reducing them to equivalent fractions of a common denominator.
` 4 : 5 = 4/5 and 18 : 25 = 18/25`
`4/5 = (4 xx 5)/(5 xx 5) = 20/25`
As, ` 20/25 gt 18/25 , 4/5 gt 18/25`
` :. 4 : 5 gt 18 : 25`.
