Since, total surface area of cube `= 6("side")^(2)`
`rArr 294 = 6xx("side")^(2)`
`rArr ("side")^(2)=(294)/(6)`
`rArr ("side")^(2)=49` or side = 7 cm
`therefore` Volume of a cube `= ("side")^(3)`
`=(7)^(3)`
`=343 cm^(3)`
