Arranging the weights in an assending order, we have
31,35,36,38,40,44,45,52,55,60
Here, n=10 , which is even.
Median weight = average of `(10/2) th and (10/2+1)` the terms
= average of 5th and 6th terms.
`1/2 ( 40 =44) kg = 84/2 kg = 42 kg`
Hence, the median weight is 42 kg.
