The diameter of a cylinder is 14 cm and its curved surface area is 220 cm2. the volume of the cylinder is 

A. 770 cm3

Given that, 

Diameter = 14 cm 

So, Radius = 7 cm 

We know that, 

Curved surface area of cylinder = \(2\pi rh\)

220 cm2\(2\pi rh\)

h = \(\frac{220\times7}{2\times22\times7}\)

h = 5 cm 

Therefore, 

Volume of cylinder = \(2\pi rh\)

\(\frac{22}{7}\times7\times7\times5\)

= 770 cm3 

Hence, option A is correct
