We know that,

Curved surface area of cylinder = \(2\pi rh \)

264 = \(2\pi rh \)

r = \(\frac{264}{2\pi h}\)

r = \(\frac{132}{\pi h}\) m

We also know that,

Volume of cylinder = \(2\pi rh \)

= 924 m3

Now,

r = \(\frac{132}{\pi h}\)

\(\frac{132\times7}{22\times6}\) = 7 m

Therefore,

Diameter of the pillar, d = 7 × 2 = 14 m
