Best answer
Here, Mass of the substance`M=50g`
volume of the substance, `V=20cm^3`
Clearly, density of the substance, `d=(M)/(V)=(50g)/(20cm^3)=2.5(g)/(cm^3)`
Since density of substance `(2.5(g)/(cm^3)`) is more than that of water `(1(g)/(cm^3))`, the substance will sink.
