The resistors `R_(1),R_(2),R_(3)` and `R_(4)` are connected as shown in the figure. `S_(1)` and `S_(2)` are two switches . Discuss the flow of current through the resistors when
(1) `S_(1)` and `S_(2)` both are closed.

Will any electric current flow thorugh an open circuit?
If the two terminals of a resistor are connected together in an electric circuit, it is said to the short circuted and no current flow through the resistor.
