From the graph, we find that
`u=80m//s, v=0, t=8s`
From `v=u+at`
`0 = 80+axx8, a= (-80)/8= -10m//s`
As `m=50g = (50)/(1000)kg=1/20kg`
`:. F = ma =1/(20)(-10)= -0.5N`
Negative sign is for opposing frictional force of the floor on the ball.
