Best answer
Initial velocity of the train, u = 0
Final velocity of the train, v = 40 km/h = `40xx(5)/(11.11)m//s`
Time taken, t = 10 minute = 10 `xx` 60 = 600 s
Acceleration, (a) = `(v-u)/(t)=(11.11-0)/(600)=0.0185 m//s^(2)`
Hence, the acceleration of the train is 0.0185 m/`s^(2)`.
