As, a perimeter 80m

\(\Rightarrow \) 2(length + breath) = 80

\(\Rightarrow \) 2(length + 16) = 80

\(\Rightarrow \) 2 x length + 32 = 80

\(\Rightarrow \) 2 x length = 80 - 32

\(\Rightarrow \) length = \(\frac{48}{2}\)

\(\therefore\) length = 24 m

Now, the area of the plot = \(length \times breadth\)

= 24 x 16

= 384 m²

So, the length of the plot is 24 m and its area is 384 m².
