Given: 

Side of the equilateral triangle = 10cm 

Thus we have:

Area of the equilateral triangle = \(\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}\) side2

\(\frac{\sqrt{3}}4{}\times 10\times 10\)

= 25 x 1.732

= 43.3 cm2
