Why is difficult to develop vaccines for some diseases?

The disease caused due to viral infections generally do not have vaccines to prevent them. This because viruses are not made of ells. They multiply inside host cell by using the cellular resources of the host body. They do not produce their specific antigens, hence it is difficult to develop vaccines for viral diseases.
