Best answer

Given: The two points are A(-8, 0) and B(0, 15)

Distance between A and B

⇒ \(\sqrt{(0+8)^2+(15-0)^2}\)

⇒ \(\sqrt{64+225}\)

⇒ √289

⇒ 17 units

Therefore, the distance between A and B is 17 units.
