[(x + y, -y)(3x,4)] = [(-4,3)(6,4)]

On comparing L.H.S. and R. H.S we get,

On comparing each term we get,

x + 2y = -4  ....(i)

-y = 3 ....(ii)

3x = 6  .....(iii)

From (i), (ii) and (iii), we get,

y = -3 and x = 2
