If \( \begin{bmatrix} \text{x}&3\text{x - y} \\[0.3em] 2\text{x + z}& 3y - w \\[0.3em] \end{bmatrix}\) = \( \begin{bmatrix} 3&2 \\[0.3em] 4& 7 \\[0.3em] \end{bmatrix}\) , find the values of x, y, z, ω.

[(x, 3x - y)(2x + z 3y, - w)] = [(3,2)(4,7)]

Given,

On comparing each element of the two matrices we get,

x = 3,

3x - y = 2

y = 7

2x + z = 4,

z = -2,

3y - w = 7,

w = 14
