Let P(x1, y1, z1) and Q(x2, y2, z2) be the two points then Direction ratios of line joining P and Q i.e. PQ are x2 - x1, y2 - y1, z2 - z

Here, P is(1, 5, 4) and Q is (4, 1, - 2)

Direction ratios of PQ are: (4 - 1),(1 - 5),( - 2 - 4) = 3, - 4, - 6

Ans: the direction ratios of vector PQ are: 3, - 4, - 6
