Assertion Reasoning Type question

A statement of Assertion (A) is given followed by a corresponding statement of Reason (R) just below it/of the statements, mark the correct answer as 

(A) If both assertion and reason are true and reason is the correct explanation of assertion. 

(B) If both assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation of assertion. 

(C) If assertion is true but reason is false. 

(D) If assertion is false but reason is true. 

(E) If both assertion and reason are false.

Assertion: The tendency of skidding or overturning is quadrupled, when a cyclist double his speed of turning. 

Reason: Angle of bending increases as velocity of vehicle increases.

(B) If both assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation of assertion.

From the above solution;

We can write N sinθ = \(\frac{mv^2}R\)

N cos θ = mg

Now when v is doubled, 

\(\frac{m(2v)^2}R=4.\frac{mv^2}R\)

∴ Tendency is quadrupled.

And also tan θ = \((\frac {v^2}{rg})\) as v ↑ θ ↑
