i. Transuranic elements are the man-made elements with atomic number higher than 92 (the atomic number of uranium). These elements are prepared by nuclear reactions which involve transformation of naturally occuring elements.
ii. The elements from atomic numbers 104 (Rf) to 112 (Uub) are identified. Elements upto atomic number 118 (Uuo) are synthesized.
