f = l, d = 3 – 1 = 2, f – d = 1 – 2 = – 1

Algebraic form of odd numbers x_n = dn + (f – d) = 2n – 1

The sequence of the squares of all odd numbers = 1, 9, 2 5, 49,……….

Algebraic form = (2n -1 )²
