A student mixes sodium sulphate powder in barium chloride powder. What change would the student observe on mixing the two powders? Justify your answer and explain how he can obtain the desired change.

On mixing solution of sodium sulphate and barium, chloride, white precipitate orf barium sulphate is obtained along with sodium chloride solution.

.10mL of solution of sodium sulphate should be taken in test tube.
.10mL solution of barium chloride be taken in another test tube.
.Mix the two solutoins in a conical flask as shown in the diagram.
White precipitate of `BaSO_(4)` is formed and there is a clear liquid above the white solid which in NaCl solution. This is a double displacement reaction.
`Na_(2)SO_(4)+BaCl_(2) to 2NaCl+BaSO__(4)`
