(i) The colour of the ferrous sulphate crystals is green before heating and changes to brown after heating. The colour of the crystals changes due to the formation of ferric oxide.
(ii) During heating sulphur dioxide `(SO_(2))` and sulphur trioxide `(SO_(3))` are produced.
(iii) `{:(2FeSO_(4) (s) overset("Heat")rarr Fe_(2)O_(3)(s) + SO_(2)(g)+SO_(3) (g) ),(" Ferric oxide"):}`
