Explain how, offsprings and parents of organisms reproducting sexually have the same number of chromosomes.

Correct Answer - Reduction division (meiosis ) during gamete formation halves the number of chromosomes in both male and female gametes. Since male and female gametes fuse during fertilisastion, the orginal number of chromosomes (as in the parent) is restored in the offspring
