log x = log 8492 + log 3.72 - log 47.8 - log 52.24
= 3.9290 + 0.5705 - 1.6794 - 1.7180
= 4.4995 - 3.3974 = 1.1021
`rArr x =` antilog (1.1021) = 12.65.
Hence, the value of the given expression is 12.65.
