The basic duties of the Junior Merchandiser can be divided into four areas :
planning ,directing ,co-coordinating and controlling .The Merchandiser formulates the policies for the areas in which they are responsible ,he also guides and train buyers as and when the need arises ,also supervises the work of more than one buyer and also assess the merchandise performance and the buyer’s performance .
