Given equations are

x+y = 5 ...(1)

And 2x-y = 4 ...(2)

For drawing equation (1) on graph, we have

x 5 0 3
y 0 5 2

For drawing equation (2) on graph, we have

x 2 0 3
y 0 -4 2

We observe from graph that intersection point of both lines is (3, 2).

∴ solution of given system of equation is x = 3 and y = 2.
