The area of an equilateral triangle is 17300 cm2 . Draw circles with radius half the length of one side of the triangle and vertices as the centre of the circle. Calculate the area of the shaded portion.

Area of the equilateral triangle

One side = 200 cm,

Radius of the circle = 100 cm

Central angle of each sector = 60°

Area of one sector = \(\frac{\pi r^2\times60^\circ}{360 }\)
