Is demineralised or distilled water useful for drinking purpose? If not, how can it be made useful?

No, dimineralised water or distilled water is not always useful for drinking purposes. It is usually tasteless. Moreover, some ions such as `Na^(+), K^(+) and Mg^(2+)` etc. are essential to the body. In order to make dimineralised water more useful, some useful salts of sodium and potassium etc. must be dissolved in it.
