Pressure is the force (i.e., weight) acting per unit area But weight=mg
`:.` Pressure = Weight per unit area
`=(1034 gxx9.8 m s^(-2))/(cm^(2))`
`=(1034 gxx9.8 m s^(-2))/(cm^(2))xx(1 kg)/(1000 g)xx(100 cmxx100 cm)/(1 mxx1 m)xx(1 N)/(kg m s^(-2))xx(1 Pa)/(1 N m^(-2))`
`=1.01332xx10^(5) Pa`
