Best answer

Length = 8x

Breadth = 3x

$8x\times3x=2400,$

$24x^2=2400$

$x^2=\frac{2400}{24}=100;$

$x^2=\sqrt{100}=10$

length = 8 × 10 = 80,

Breadth = 3 × 10 = 30

When length and breadth are increased by 20, then length = 100;

Breadth = 50

length : breadth = 2 : 1
