A cheetah can start from rest and attain the velocity 72 km/h in 2 seconds. Calculate the acceleration of cheetah.

Final Velocity = 72km/h = \((72\times\frac{5}{18})\)m/s

= 20m/s

Initial velocity = 0

Time taken for change in velocity = 2s

Acceleration = \(\frac{20-0}{2}\) = \(\frac{20}{2}\) = 10 m/s2
