`RS^(Ө)` is a stronger nucleophile and a better leaving group than `RO^(Ө)`.
`RS^(Ө)` is a weaker base than `RS^(Ө)`.
A. If both `(A)` and `(R )` are true, but `( R)` is the correct explanation of `(A)`
B. If both `(A)` and `( R)` are true, but `(R )` is not the correct explanation of `(A)`.
C. If `(A)` is true but `( R)` is false.

Correct Answer - A
Acidity : `RSH gt ROH`
Basicity : `RS^(Ө) lt RO^(Ө)`
When nucleophilic centres are different and belong to the same group, nucleophilicity is antiparallel to basicity.
Nucleophilicity : `RS^(Ө) gt RO^(Ө)`
Weaker the base, better is the leaving group. So the leaving group ability of `RS^(Ө) gt RO^(Ө)`.
