A concave spherical mirror, forms a 40 cm high real image of an object, whose height is 10 cm. The radius of the mirror is 60 cm. Find the distance from the object to its image.

I =  height of image 

O = height of object 

v = distance of image 

u = distance of object 

R = radius 

R = 2f

Distance between object  and image 

⇒ v + u ​= −150 − 37.5

= −187.5 cm​​

Why is height of image taken positive,it is a concave mirror so height of image must be negative.please answer..
