Best answer

1. Macromolecule proteins are made up of building blocks of amino acids. 2. Amino acids are synthesized by two methods – Reductive animation and transamination.

3. Reductive amination – Ammonia reacts with alpha keto glutaric acid to form glutamic acid.

\(\alpha\) ketoglutric acid + NH4 + NaDPH2 \(\overset{Glutamate\,dehydrogenase}\longrightarrow\) + Glutamate +H2O + NADP

4. Transamination – Amino group of one amino acid is transferred to other carboxylic acid at keto position.

Glutamate acid + Oxaloacetic acid \(\underset{Aminobansferease}{\stackrel{Glutamate\,Aspartate}{\longrightarrow}}\) Asportic + \(\infty\) Ketoglutaric acid
