Best answer
Mass of the organic compound =0.45 g
Mass of `CO_(2)` formed = 1.10 g
Mass of `H_(2)O` formed = 0.30 g
Percentage of `C=12/44 xx("Mass of carbon dioxide formed")/("Mass of compound")xx100`
`=12/44xx((1.10 g))/((0.45 g))xx100=66.67 %`
Percentage of `H=2/18 xx ("Mass of water formed")/("Mass of compound")xx100`
`=2/18xx((0.30 g))/((0.45 g))xx100=7.41 %`.
