इसके लिए 500 K पर `K_( C) =32` है। यदि प्रारम्भ में BrCl की सांद्रता `3.3 xx 10^(-3) "mol" L^(-1)` हो, तो साम्य पर मिश्रण में इसकी सांद्रता क्या होंगी?

`K_(c ) = ([Br_(2)][Cl_(2)])/([BrCl]^(2))`
`32 = (x/2-x/2)/(3.3 xx 10^(-3)-x)^(2)`
दोनों ओर को वर्गमूल लेने पर,
`5.66 = (x/2)/(3.3 xx 10^(-3)-x)`
`11.32 = x/(0.0033 -x)`
` 0.037 - 11,32x =x` or `12.32x = 0.037`
or `x=3.0 xx 10^(-3)`
`therefore BrCl` की साम्य पर सांद्रता `=3.3 xx 10^(-3) - 3.0 xx 10^(-3)`
`=3.0 xx 10^(4) "mol" L^(-1)`
