Best answer
In Solvey Ammonia process for getting sodium carbonate, `NaHCO_(3)` formed gets precipitated and upon heating is gives sodium carbonate. `KHCO_(3)` is expected to be formed if the same process is used for the preparation of `K_(2)CO_(3)`. But as `KHCO_(3)` is highly soluble in water,it cannot be isolated.
