माना की साम्यवस्था स्थापित होने तक `C_(2)H_(6)` का आंशिक दाब घटता है|
`C_(2)H_(6)(g)hArr C_(2)H_(4)(g)+H_(2)(g)`
`{:("प्रारम्भ में दाब",4.0atm,0,0),("साम्यवस्था पर दाब",4.0-P,p,p):}`
`:. K_(p)=(P_(C_(2)H_(4))*P_(H_(2)))/(P_(C_(2))H_(6))=(PxxP)/(4.0-P)`
या `0.04=(p^(2))/(4.0-P)`
या `P^(2)+0.04P-0.16=0`
`:.P=(-0.04pmsqrt((0.04)^(2)-4xx1xx(-0.16)))/(2xx1)`
`=(-0.04pm0.801)/(2)`
धनात्मक मान लेने पर, `P=0.38`
`:.[C_(2)H_(6)(g)]_(eq)=4.0-P=4.0-0.38=3.62atm`
