The total energy of SHM=kinetic energy of particle+potential energy of particle. At mean position the total energy of the particle in SHM is in form of kinetic energy. At extreme position, the total energy of the particle in SHM is in the form of the potential energy. the variation of total energy of the particle in SHM with time is shown in a graph.
