Correct Answer - D
The total mechanical energy of a simple harmonic oscillator oscillating with amplitude is a is
`E=(1)/(2)momega^(2)a^(2)` i.e., `E=propa^(2)`
Therefore energy is directly proportional to the square of amplitude of vibration of harmonic oscillator.
