The length of the two trains are 60 m and 90 m. They are running at the speed of 58 km/hr and 50 km/hr respectively on parallel tracks in opposite direction . In how many seconds will they pass each other .?
A. 10
B. 8

Correct Answer - C
Relative speed = (58 + 50) km/hr = 108 km/hr
= `108 xx (5)/(18)` m/sec = 30 m/s
The distance covered to pass each other = `60 + 90 = 150 m`
`therefore` The time taken to pass each other
= `("distance")/("relative speed") = 150//30 ` = 5 seconds
