Best answer
Correct Answer - C
Equimolecular proportion means both gases occupied equal volume `=2.24/2=1.12 L`
For `CH_(4)` :
`22.4L CH_(4)` has mass `=16 gm`
`1.12 L CH_(4)` has mass `=16/22.4xx1.12=0.8 gm`.
For `C_(2)H_(6)`
`22.4 L C_(2)H_(6)` has mass `=30` gm
`1.12 L C_(2)H_(6)` has mass `=30/22.4xx1.12=3.0/2 gm = 1.5 gm`
Total mass `=1.5 gm+0.8 gm =2.3 gm`.
